Rachel Brushfield - Energise
I had toyed with the idea of getting some marketing help and Rachel Brushfield’s generous raffle prize presented a marvellous opportunity to test the possibilities. The meeting required a fair bit of advance preparation but meant that she already had a good understanding of my problems and objectives before the meeting started. The meeting was constructive and thoroughly objective. She introduced a number of helpful planning tools for creating an effective marketing program plus several useful web sites for research. She also provided helpful criticisms and suggestions for improving my CV. In short it was an intensive session into which a lot of commonsense advice was injected.
Rachel is very approachable and inspires confidence. She asks incisive questions and helps draw out the elements of specific problems. As a result of the first hour I decided to take her on for the full treatment and have certainly not been disappointed.
The programme is self-defined in content and time. There is no feeling that this is a structure into which one is being made to fit. Each session so far has been tailored to deal with current issues, either selected by me or identified by Rachel. The areas where she has provided help range far beyond pure external marketing and include a lot of psychology and introspection to help identify objectives and constraints. One major benefit of the programme is having to report on progress towards ones own objectives and to complete certain tasks before the next meeting. Time management specialists might not need this but I have found it useful.
If you think you are too busy working to find time to improve your marketing then this course is a real help – highly recommended.
