Intramezzo Quarterly Networking Event - 18/06/2009
Intramezzo is delighted to announce details of their June networking event which is being hosted by the Cass Business School, City University, 106 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8TZ and will commence at 6.00 pm on Thursday 18th June.
This follows on from the success of our previous events and we are pleased that Stephen Thomas, Professor of Finance at Cass will be our guest speaker for the evening and will give a short talk entitled 'Life after debt?’. After the cataclysmic economic events this talk will focus on the impact of the current round of debt and what the implications are for recovery and the life thereafter.
Stephen joined the Faculty of Finance at Cass in 2007. He has recent experience as an investment strategist and partner for a private client firm, Firecrest Hambro, and as a Director of the Bear Stearns’ Macro Hedge Fund Global Alpha. He founded and edits a range of publications on global credit with FT Interactive Data. Stephen has also undertaken consultancy and teaching in risk management and corporate finance at various global financial institutions.
Stewart Glazzard of Bluefin, one of the UK's largest insurance brokers and sponsor of The Boulevard will also be present to discuss in particular professional indemnity insurance. There will be a champagne draw for those wanting a free quotation. For those interims and other professionals who must have professional indemnity attending this evening, Bluefin has undertaken some research to highlight that in most categories there are big savings to be made.
The evening will give all those attending an excellent opportunity to network and refresh their contacts as well as hearing from a major international business commentator on a subject of the moment. This is a 'must attend' event so please let me know if you will be joining us as soon as possible to ensure that you are allocated a place.
